Sorry for the slow updates . . .
I went to the Globe theatre a week ago with a few friends from Hashing, and saw Timon of Athens. The Globe is an authentic replica of the original theatre, and like the original groundlings, I stood in the pit, just below the actors. Timon was pretty good, but the whole experience was amazing. Of course, the Bard’s original performance didn’t have to compete with a traffic helicopter, but our performers certainly did.
I’ve also visited Borough Market, which is where Foodies die and go to heaven. If any of you visit me in London, make sure I drag you here.
