I started this blog as a way of recording journeys, and letting friends and family share in the adventure. I hope you enjoy it!
I’ve set this up in Wordpress, and have helped a few friends get their website up and running, including Lisa Eben.
I’m currently living in Highbury, Islington in London, and running a social enterprise called Third Sector IT that brings the benefits of cloud computing to charities and social enterprises.
If you need to get in contact with me, my UK cellphone is 0791 77 55 451, and my email address is stony dot grunow at gmail dot com (written out long so the spambots don’t get it too easily). I’m also on LinkedIn.
I chose the name for the blog because I’ve always enjoyed Monty Python’s Flying Circus, especially the episode featuring the Hungarian traveler reading out of a wildly inaccurate phrasebook. At one point, trying to buy matches, the tourist says “My hovercraft is full of eels” to a befuddled shopkeeper.
You can read a translation of this phrase in your own language.
